Driving an overweight horsebox is illegal and dangerous and you could be fined. Ensure you know what weight your lorry is empty and what weight it is full. Contact your local council for public weighbridges.
Accepting diesel money for transporting a horse isn't legally regarded as hire and reward. If you charge per trip, then you will need to be covered for commercial hire and reward.
